The Tufted Duck

If you are ever driving in the Carse of Gowrie area, take a detour towards Rait and stop by The Tufted Duck. It's part of a wee group of stone outbuildings housing various shops, mostly antiques. The views are amazing and so is the freshly cooked food. A small menu served by friendly staff in a relaxing atmosphere with big windows overlooking the Carse.

For those been here long enough to know Molly, a dear departed Blipper, her family home, Fingask Castle is just a stone throws away from here down a country lane. Looking stunning in the sunshine.

Off to a concert tonight. But before that a quick visit into Harry's Bar to celebrate my hairdresser, Rae's first birthday of opening his salon in Perth. Hair has to look as good as when he did it on Thursday!!
