Comedy of Errors!!

Not the play by Shakespeare, but the story of my weekend!

Woke this morning feeling slightly more sprightly so decided to head to a neighbouring village festival this afternoon, but by the time the afternoon came round, my va-va-voom had up and gone! So instead I had another go at taking up those trousers, this time successfully!!

After yesterday’s ironing board disaster, a new one was ordered online last night, and collected today. Before I go any further, let me point out that I was not the one responsible for checking the measurements or choosing the new ironing board. Anyhow, when it was collected this afternoon, it turned out to be the size of a pro surf board, way too big for the cupboard! So off it went to be returned, and a further purchase was made, without the aid of a tape measure (not guilty!). Guess what? This one turned out to be too big as well, but not until it had been unwrapped and used! Anybody want to buy an ironing board? Only used once! And it’s pink!!

So today another literary reference, another tale of dosmetic blunders, and another ‘soft focus’ insect from the garden (I prefer to use that term instead of slightly fuzzy!). Yesterday’s blunders were back-blipped this morning if you would like the full story of my weekend!
