Valerian

I'm not too sure about this one at all but hey ho! I've put a colour version in as an extra.

After Elly and Oscar left this afternoon I went to the little harbour at Cockwood and looked around for a shot I haven't taken there before. Lots of boats resting in the mud but the valerian seems to be having a very good year and I'd been thinking how good it looks. This little clump with the boats behind drew my attention. I initially selected just the pink flowers but thought it looked a bit odd so selected the green leaves and stalks. I desaturated the greens slightly and I think I quite like it ... but I'm not sure. We'll soon see.
