Young photographer

Another busy day with grandchildren. This morning we took them to Beaver Water World, only a few miles from where they live. It’s not an ordinary zoo, but a charity whose aim is ‘to rescue and care for mistreated, unwanted and rare reptiles and other animals’. From the outside this place is not very inspiring to say the least, but one soon realises that the animals are well housed and looked after.  There’s a lot of information and the volunteers, who work there, are friendly and knowledgeable, like this young lady who was very at home with the snake and encouraged the children to hold and touch it.

Another camera was in use today and this six year old took some rather good pictures.
