goldfinch feeding

A really poor photo today but couldn't resist recording the first time I've seen this finch feeding its young in my garden. They were deep in the silver birch and I just couldn't get a decent focus behind all of the leaves in the way.

A busy day doing this and that and also a bit of work needed before leaving for LHR tomorrow for an afternoon flight to Cologne then onto Vienna on Tuesday evening. I hope to get a chance for an iPhone shot or two between the work stuff.
