Porty People and Places

Respect to all those who completed this year's Edinburgh Moon Walk. It passed through Porty before 0600. ( I took this photo outside our newsagents at the end of my morning run - a little later than the moon walkers!)

A relaxing morning at home was followed by a voluntary shift in the afternoon that ended in time for me to rendezvous  with Tiggy for a concert at The Usher Hall. 

One of my oldest friends was singing in it. My sister-in-law was playing in the orchestra. My friend had played his violin at  my sister-in-law's wedding. My friend's wife was celebrating a special birthday today too. It was lovely to meet up on such an auspicious day.

The sun finally came out again in the afternoon as well!
