The Long and Short of It

Another high school open house this afternoon, this time at our church.

This is Merrick, and one of his senior buddies John. John and the other older boys are always good at trying to include Merrick when they are shooting baskets, or throwing around a football.

John is a tall kid, maybe going 6 feet 5 inches. Merrick is a big kid, too,
but John makes him look almost miniscule.

3 open houses down, 4 more to go. My wallet hurts.

We can remember when John was Merrick's size, and running around the church. How time flies.
