LEGO minifigs and puzzles

This is my LEGO minifig. He has been on my keychain for about 5 years now (taken off for the picture, of course). My spare set has a LEGO guy too. Now it seems my brother's keys have found their own LEGO man to spend time with.

His face has worn off from being in my pockets and rubbing up on coins and keys. I think he came from a race car set from the 80s or early 90s.

And for those of you who who have been puzzling over yesterday's blip, puzzle no more! You can build your own... though the how-to does give away how the puzzle works, so if you haven't figured out a good solution in your mind yet, maybe hold off on reading the following section.

Materials:
Piece of wood, mine is about 1 x 4 x 1/2 inches
String, about 20 inches long
Large bead
Something to make holes in wood, like a drill or dremel or a sharp knife and patience

1. drill/cut two holes in either end of the stick of wood, making sure the bead is larger than the hole.
2. put the string through the bead, creating a loop with the bead at one end. make a knot.
drilled, looped, knotted

3.loop the string through the the holes like so

4. bring the string around the end and through the hole by the bead

5. put the bead through the loop. pull the loop back through said hole

tighten up the string and make the bead further out to compound confusion.

enjoy
