Bye Bye Dodge

I spent 6 out of the last 7 years driving back and forth to West St. Paul every week to Dodge Nature Preschool.  The experiences  each of my kids have had there are priceless.  In those 6 years, I can count on one hand the amount of times they did not go outside.  O loved hikes in the woods, making predictions about how decomposing animals died, and nailing golf tees into pumpkins.  E loved jumping in the hay loft, smashing pumpkins for compost, and rolling tires down hills.  M loved collecting chicken eggs, learning how to draw birds, and making shadow puppets with her sweet friend H.  I wish all schools could be like Dodge.  Even just a little bit.
