The Beauty Parlor

I went back to check out the heron rookery and couldn't resist this shot of the three herons in a row all preening.  The babies are almost as big as the parents now but they seem to still be staying in the nests.  I'm not sure how long they take to fledge.  I saw at least 6 adults and could see 4 babies well and the heads of several others in nests.  
It's been a very busy day and I'm having trouble keeping my eyes open so if I miss your journals tonight, I promise to catch up tomorrow.  :))
