Overheating!

With only a couple of hours to go one of the Nissans came straight down the escape road at Porsche Curves struggling to stop with the front brakes on fire. The marshals managed to put this out quickly but then flames started to come out from under the bonnet. Lots of running around spraying extinguishers and trying to get the bodywork off. At the start of the race it would have been a couple of catches but by this stage there was so much tape holding it down it took 4 people and a crow bar!

An hour or so after this photo it was great to see Porsche back on the podium at Le Mans with a 1 - 2. Next year should be an even better battle!
