Lake Argyle ......Kimbeley Region

Lake Argyle ,man made by damming the Ord river for irrigating the remote far north,west of Australia,is classed as an inland sea over 1000 sq kilometres..it is nestled amongst a rugged,billion year old landscape.Completed in 1972.
Tomorrow we are flying over it and visiting the Argyle diamond mine with the worlds rarest pink diamonds and having a miners tour and lunch! Fun.Mr J is leaving his wallet at home !!
