We are in a drought, I'm told. There is even a hosepipe ban in Buckinghamshire.

Well, this gale-force drought and the torrential drought are shredding the Oriental Poppies. The fact that they have survived so far just shows how hardy they are, but 80 mph winds will soon finish them off.

At least they are not short of water. Drought - pish!
