Grandma Figure

We had a very cold cloudy day with the temperature not rising over 8 C. We had drizzle and a cold wind. When I checked this evening there was snow on The Ned, a mountain to the south of town. So winter is on us.
I paid a quick visit the Vines Village, a popular tourist spot a few kilometers from Blenheim. There is an interesting range of shops to visit but I headed for the "Quilters Barn" to buy a few items. Outside was this charming old lady in a wicker chair with a cat on her knee... Hardly a "scarecrow" I am unsure what this type of model can be called. It was very cleverly created by one of the ladies at the Quilters Barn.
