Meal worms

These dried meal worms are currently soaking to make them softer and a little more palatable for the baby birds. The birds in my garden go through these at a rate of knots - they're no sooner out in the garden than they're gone.

I prefer to get the dried ones these days. One year I did buy live ones, because I had some Blue Tits nesting in the garden, but they were so disgusting I never did it again!
