FEELING THE HEAT
Cholmondeley Pageant of Power 2015
The raw sound of engines and the smell of petrol filled Cholmondeley castle’s grounds for the annual three-day motoring festival this weekend which attracted petrol heads from across the UK.
The Cholmondeley Pageant of Power was back for its eighth year and returned to its roots by celebrating “Power” in all its forms.
Track action included over 120 of the country’s most valuable historic supercars and bikes battling it out for a place on the podium for the fastest lap.
Visitors were entertained by a mix of Group B Rally cars, Modern and classic road and racing cars along with motorbikes and a demonstrations by Trials Bike Legend Dougie Lampkin.
One of the highlights of the show was in the air, with an impressive farewell display from the last remaining Avro Vulcan Bomber XH558 - which is in it's final year of flight. There were also displays from the Red Bull Matadors as well as a single BAC Strikemaster and the Eurofighter Typhoon.
There was also exhilarating action with the Jet Ski Championships together with flyboard demonstrations and rib rides on the lake.
