The Gruffalo was always a favourite story of my childhood. Ahh. How nice.

This is the log drier that we have so the wood is dry enough to put in our log fire, but of course we don't use it in summer. I do love it in the winter however when the fire's crackling and we're eating partially burnt toast, roasted chestnuts and toasted marshmallows. Mmm. When's winter coming?

Nah I'm joking - summer's here! Time to hit the beach, head to the pool and unpack the BBQ. Summer party!

So I know this woodpile represents winter to me, but I loves the summer sun shining down on the brown logs, highlighting the tree's rings of age.

My parents enforced me not to edit this, by the way. :)
