Beer.

Went out with friends in Hackney Wick this afternoon and came across this not -that-micro brewery, right next door to another brewery. We exitedly tucked into their wares but I don't know whether it's me or the current taste fashion, but all the ones I tried were really hoppy and took all the enamel off my teeth.
Other mates go on about these 'lovely' fresh hoppy ales and i just long for an old fashioned pint of ale like Landlord or London Pride. Is it a case of the emperor's new clothes or me missing something?
