Wash out

What a diabolical half term this is turning out to be! Husband of Mine is off work, but is spending every spare moment re-decorating the living room now the hole in the ceiling has been mended and re-plastered. This, combined with wanting to follow the televised Jubilee celebrations at the start of the week and now weather that is more like October than June has meant that we've been cooped up a lot more than is usual.

Despite the torrential rain today, the front door has been mostly left wide open by the workmen re-tiling our bathroom. By the afternoon, I gave up and joined them by opening the back door to sit with the camera to try to capture the streaks of rain. It wasn't very successful, so apologies for this damp squib of a blip...
