39,000 feet

This was the view from the plane at 39,000 feet.

Apart from the taxi being 40 minutes late picking us up from the hotel, and the driver moaning all the way to Heathrow that I was paying a very good price, (ie. too cheap) and him taking a rather tortuous route to Heathrow, once at the airport, everything else went very smoothly.

Good flight, never been through US customs so quickly, 15 minutes from exiting the plane to picking up our luggage.  Found the pick up point for our courtesy hotel bus.  You can never be sure of how your hotel is going to 'pan out' ours was very good.  Lovely room, staff very helpful, couldn't ask for more.
