Wish you were here

Went to the funeral of a family friend today. It was an ecumenical humanist service; it wasn't advertised as such but we had the Lord's Prayer which I didn't think would feature in a fundamentalist Humanist event.

The deceased was a lovely lady and a great friend to my children - she was like an honorary grandmother. Despite being nearly the same age as my mother she was a big Floyd fan so we were treated to "Wish you were here" on a very good sound system at the crematorium. No air guitar but very, very tempted.
