Unexpected

According to the BBC, today was meant to be cloudy with no sun at all, but the sun began to break through late morning and continued this afternoon.  By early evening it was so lovely I just had to treat myself to a walk along a short section of the South Downs Way before supper.  This was the result.

Unfortunately that means I've missed this week's Mono Monday (on 'angles') so apologies to JDO.  Truthfully, I suppose I didn't rate the images I'd struggled to take for it earlier.  They were okay, but they wouldn't have made anyone's heart skip a beat (not even mine, and I'm easily pleased).
