We finished off the marking and eventually headed our separate ways - me to Oxford to join D & L (and ultimately DaveH from the train station), so that we could attend a celebrity lecture (Mary Beard) followed by a grand dinner in Mansfield College. Splendid company, food, wine and, for those who wished it, the ceremonial snuff box!!

I thought that the ladies facility in the Principal's Lodgings looked even more venerable than the fine specimen that I once blipped in the hunting lodge up Glen Tilt!
