Merlot

This is a B & W image of the merlot vine I bought in the Dordogne region of France about 6 years ago. We had been in St Emilion , the heart of the local wine growing region and this little vine was about 6 inches tall and cost 1 euro 50c. I don't think we will ever get grapes but ' Jacque' as we call him is growing quite happily up the fence.
