In Vancouver

...on the longest Monday in our lives. We woke at 5 London time. Now it's 10 pm in London but only 2 pm inVancouver. We have one more flight and then with any luck our friend Carol will meet us and pour us into Sue's house by about 5 pm Portland time. this is my first iPad photo, shot through the window at the airport becuse I'm too tired to lift the Nikon.

It was worth this exhaustion and then some. We will recover, and the friendships and the memories will keep us company for the rest of our lives.
