Yellow Iris

This Yellow Iris, or Yellow Flag, in the garden is a reminder of the beautiful yellow irises which are flowering beside water and in damp ground in parts of Britain just now.
It is thought to be the original 'fleur-de-lis' which is a common symbol of heraldry.
