peony 2015

today my earliest peony came into bloom, five days earlier than it did last year peony 2014.  more flowers will soon follow.  there is something blissfully decadent about a row of peonies.  

this will be the third time i have blipped this exact plant.  first when it bloomed last year, next when it went to seed peony seed pod 2014 and now tonight.  just a side note - the peony seed pod shot has my all time viewer high of 114.  i like that shot - but it seems like it would appeal to a rather specific audience, those who enjoy strange botanical phenomena.  come to think of it, that's most of the blippers i know!  smile.  a crazy crew who rock my world.  thanks.
