Curlew.
Raining again today so we decided to go to the movies at the Gold Coast Arts Centre. In the parking area, sheltering under some bushes were a pair of "Bush Thick-knee" Formally called Southern Stone Curlew. The extra shows the bird upright. The partner is visible upper left.
