Inspiration

It's funny how inspiration lands on your lap in so many different ways. I've been wanting to buy a bike for so long and of course I've procrastinated. Today I saw this elderly man riding his bike and I almost smacked myself on my forehead.....like really if he can do it, I can do and no more excuses.

Later in the evening I went to the store to do a little shopping and while I was waiting in a long line to pay there was this elderly woman in front of me. I checked her out because she caught my interest. The clothes she was buying was somewhat flirty so I thought maybe she's shopping for her granddaughter. She didn't have a cart so I offered for her to put the items in my cart while we were waiting. She turned around, smiled and accepted the offer. We began talking and it turned out the clothes was for her. She's been taking many dance classes....ballroom, salsa and swing and was in need of some new clothes to go out dancing. Once again I thought to myself "what the hell are you waiting for" because I too have been wanting to take dance classes. She was so kind and bubbly and not annoying at all. I told her I too took a salsa class a long time ago with my ex-husband. She chuckled and said "oh dear we all have an ex". She was so damn cute. She also said her best friend just got an ex too and they've been taking dance lessons together and hitting up the niteclubs showing off their steps. You have no idea how badly I wanted to take a picture of her for me and for blip but I couldn't find the nerve. I know she would have been thrilled.

Lesson learned and inspired to follow your dreams, take action and do what you love RIGHT NOW!
