Dubliners - James Joyce
'..... His soul swooned slowly as he heard the snow falling faintly through the universe and faintly falling, like the descent of their last end, upon all the living and the dead'
(closing lines from short story The Dead
Despite all the hoo ha about Ulysses - his collection of short stories is for me beautiful and dark. I can read them over and over again.
Happy Blooms Day everyone!
