landrover dreaming...

...with Charles an ex Kenyan (hence the EAK-East Africa Kenya) now living in the Perth Hills and carting a load of rose prunings laden with rose hips somewhere.
He got quite misty eyed about 'The Landie' 'and I can so appreciate the connection.
While the work trucks in 70s Namibia were  pastel painted Land Cruisers, we had an ochre coloured short-wheeled base LandRover for high days and holidays.
What adventures were had, they truly do 'boldly go' and all that and I'm sure it is still plying its trade battling through the acacia scrub.
