Michinmahuida Volcano

A series of these were taken by me from the window of a British Airways 747 en-route from Sydney to a holiday in Buenos Aires in December 2008. The camera used was a Nikon D300 with an 18-200mm lens. A Facebook reader in Germany saw the pics and told me this was one of a very few shots of this Chilean volcano taken from the air. He seemed very enthusiastic about it and asked to include it in a thesis on South American Volcanoes. My few seconds of fame!
