Tawny Frogmouth
Our home is situated in a semi-rural area and surrounded by acreages.
We are often on the lookout for animals or birds life particularly after dark.
Tonight, along our driveway, this Nightjar was perched on the garden gate leading to the fruit trees. It was as curious as I was when I approached closer for the blip (distance 3-4m). Technique: high ISO setting and flash lighting at the minimal.
