We have done a LOT of walking today. The Jardin du Tuileries was once the place to parade in your finery and it is still a lovely place for a stroll. This is Napoleon's Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel, built to celebrate his battlefield successes in 1805.

The weather has not been like this all day, by the way...
