A long day in the car with a hiccup about two miles into the journey when JJ's warning light told him one of the tyres needed pumping up. We found somewhere to stop, emptied the boot so he could get to the car's compressor, which worked a treat, thank goodness. Re packed the car and we were on our way again.

I forgot to mention that JJ eventually worked out that sat nav doesn't work unless the directions are added when stationary, sensibly. So this morning I caved in and decided to see which direction she would take us. Mistake, a big mistake from my point of view. A quiet journey until we hit the outskirts of Caen and Rouen, cities we didn't need to be anywhere near but "she" had decided on autoroutes all the way, whereas I would have taken a more direct but less stressful route. We're doing it my way tomorrow.

No pictures today except for this little wren which was singing merrily as we left JJ's cousin's home.

Heart rate starting to return to normal and we'll eat in the hotel. THE CAR IS STAYING IN THE CAR PARK.
