Midnight sun (Day 40)

I was up early and trundled the dogs up the hill for a race around in the heather, all the while looking forward to my beautiful wife coming home.
I headed to work and was diverted from the bathroom fit by a leak in the pipework to a radiator. Not a huge leak, just a tiny little weep from a solder joint, but it is only going to get worse. I figured out a way of getting to it, but needed to get some bits so headed to town. Plans changed rapidly as I heard from HV that she had been thrown from a horse and was awaiting X-ray results. She has a fractured fibula, which is a lot better than it could have been by the sound of things. She will mend. I will administer medicinal substances.... Work took a back seat for the rest of the day.
