Jaguar Rescue Centre

Today we visited the Jaguar rescue center! It was so amazing too see all these volunteers working to release all the injured and sick animals back into the wild! We met Sid the sloth from Ice Age, Jess was fascinated with him... So cuteeeee! We also saw baby Pumas and other wild cats, frogs, snakes, monkeys, birds including 2 baby Toucans and the prettiest owls. Most of the sloths come as babies as their mothers are electrocuted by the power lines, while a lot of the other animals are there because it's common for people like to catch wild animals and keep them as pets. The afternoon was spent having a nice lunch and coffee with out friends Claire and Nathan from the UK and snoozing on the beach as the sun went down.
