Rural views

Bike ride this morning proved to be a dangerous game! The local main road is closed for roadworks and instead of following the diversion it seems that all vehicles are using the back roads. Together with the farm tractors it was an almost lethal mix. I nearly got wiped off the road three times with people trying to dodge past me. Two Range Rover type vehicles and a large lorry ... Idiots!! I wonder if they would get so close if they thought it was their son or daughter on the bike .... This photo was snapped over the fields. I liked the poppies and cow parsley. I would have stopped longer to take a better photo but there was a very large tractor and trailer coming up behind and I didn't want to get squished !!
