Strawberries

I was given this strawberry plant last year and was so excited when I spotted its 1 and only strawberry. The excitement was short-lived however, when I discovered a slug had beaten me to it. I will keep a watchful eye on it this year and may yet savour its fruits!

I do love this time of year, when time permitting, I can undertake small gardening tasks. Today I was able to plant out a cucumber and 2 tomato plants.
