AMY ZAYED

Amy was visiting from Germany today and we had a good catch up over coffee. Amy also works in radio and we were talking about some ideas for possible reports she could produce for us. 
Amy said that as a blind broadcast journalist, she faces constant discrimination in Germany from people not believing she can do her job.
In the UK she said, I'm not going to be told I can't be a radio journalist because I'm blind.
There was just time to do a quick photo shoot with Amy, which I hope she didn't find quite as hair-raising as this might suggest.
