Think he's cooling his underarms!

With the temperature at 100º (38º) the cardinal kept airing his armpits!  With the temps so hot, there wasn't much activity outside at all.  Did see this bright red cardinal and this tufted titmouse.

My cats are staying on the porch under the fan and laying on the pavers that I ice down twice a day.  Here's Peace checking on everyone.  

Not much chance of getting a reprieve tonight as our temperature low is only going to be 78º (25.5º)  This heat wave is to last another week.  Yikes
