In search of.....

After seeing a few other blips lately about clusters of Monarch Butterflys here in Christchurch I went off to a particular park in search of them this morning.....
After looking high and low for ages, and only spotting three individual ones gliding around I admitted defeat!
I did not find the cluster, but got a shot of this one sunning itself instead.

I will return though, and also visit another park that may have them.
It was beautiful in the park though, after a really frozen morning the sun was warming things up nicely.
I also blipped an extra shot of one of my favourite scented plants...Wintersweet.
