Beautifiul sights

Walking around the neighborhood has it's rewards.  So many beautiful gardens and all the flowers are in bloom.  This clematis was climbing up and over the top of a lamp post on the front lawn.  The color was so nice that I actually stopped the lawn service workers so I could take the photo.
I smiled at them to acknowledge getting in their way for a second but they did not smile back.  Grouches! 
I was soaked from head to toe after walking due to the severe humidity and steamy sunshine.  Just as I got to the last mile I felt something hit me on the head.  Thinking it was a bug, I immediately started shaking my head and hopping up and down trying to shake the bug out.  I found nothing.  Then, a few more steps and again something hit my head.  I was getting freaked out.  I looked up at the tree overhead but saw nothing.  All of a sudden I felt my arm and my back get hit and I turned around to see the darkest cloud moving towards me.  How silly, it was rain!!
I had to really hustle to get home in time because I knew this was going to be a downpour.  I just got in the house and the sky opened up and it poured like a monsoon.  Well, at least I didn't have to water the flowers today.
