Wildfire

Yesterday afternoon a wildfire started about 8 miles from where we live, and in 24 hours it has grown to 2000 acres. The weather has been quite hot and dry (80 plus degrees is really hot for Alaska). Many families have been evacuated, and we all hope the fire heads toward the wildlife refuge and not toward the areas where people live.
