Pastoral Island

La Ramee

I frequently pass these trees on my way into work. Over winter I was certain they were dead, with their knarled trunks and branches bleached white and almost devoid of bark. Yet along comes spring and all the new growth shoots out from somewhere to prove me wrong.
I blipped the same location yesterday but did not publish the shot. The sky was stormy and there were some cows looking dwarved at the base of the trees. It reminded me of a Constable painting. Sadly they have moved on to pastures new.
