The Torquay Big Wheel

This big wheel has been built right on the harbourside, it is 60 meters high and is taller than Nelson's Column in London.  It has 40 totally weatherproofed and very comfortable  gondolas suspended from it, and weighs 365 tonnes.  One of the German engineers on site told me that the construction from start to finish took only four days which is really quite amazing!
