Green Woodpecker

Having spent much too much time, over the last few days, trying to photograph flowers, today had to be spent doing some of my neglected jobs, like tidying up. The weather here has been atrocious, with heavy horizontal rain, so no outside jobs could be considered. Nevertheless, I have been busy all day and at 1900 hours, had still not got a picture for my blip. Entering the kitchen to make some coffee, still not made, I looked out of the window and there was this little chap, so I picked up Mrs GOG's D100, which was there and got this picture.

Hopefully over the week end I will manage to catch up on the rest of my blip activity.
