Little Russel

It's not always as calm as this in The Little Russel (the channel of water off the East coast of Guernsey), but the currents in the sea can still make it quite dangerous for swimming in ... (not that I had any intention of going for a swim) ... :o)

(Looking towards the sun whilst trying to take this shot wasn't a particularly bright idea either) ... (that said, it was certainly bright enough, just not a 'bright idea') ... :o/
