Hoover dam to Valley of Fire
Hoover dam and bridge, what human engineering can do.... Reportedly they removed native plants during the construction, put them in a nursery, and plant them back when works were over. Ecologists also collected seeds of native vegetation to spread around. Not that you see much vegetation in the desert but hey...
Drive through Lake Mead national recreation area, turquoise water and contrasting stones.
Then our last pearl: Valley of Fire State Park. Breathtaking!
White domes seemed our own Antelope canyon, just with no crowd.
The Fire Canyon willl remain one of the best images in our heart.
Last camping under the starring sky.
