Every day that I'm without you hurts just a little

Sometimes the greatness of life overwhelms you. 

The sheer enormity of it all approaches you with no caution, and the only thing to do, is lay down. 






Please remember when you see animals laying down,  it is not certain they are dead. 


Animals sleep too; and do so laying down.   


I have this pointed out to me by numerous farmers to whom I have raced with the announcement that his cow / sheep / horse is dead (in one particular instance calling the RSPCA - because I couldn't readily identify the farmer); only for the farmer to pat me on the head and say sympathetically to me; "it's okay, they are sleeping, honest, but if it makes you happy I'll go and check it". 


Yeah, well that ram might have been sleeping when I saw it, but if I ever catch up with it after foiling me for two hours... it'll be on my plate!
